● Artist

Fateh Moudarres

Fateh Al-Moudarres was born near the city of Aleppo and lived in a rural area, amongst Arab, Kurdish and Turkmen peasants. His harsh childhood, especially after the killing of his father, had psychological effects on his behavior, his art and his literary writings. Moudarres displayed a natural talent for drawing at an early age, growing close to his art teachers Munib Naqshbandi, Ghaleb Salem and Wehbe Al Hariri who educated him and taught him the principles.

El Shaer Brothers

In the early '80s, the El Shaer brothers set out to share their passion for art and creativity through collecting. In 1985, the brothers had successfully launched Elshaer Art Gallery in Damascus, a city experiencing major cultural movements in that era. The gallery's mission was to exhibit pioneering artists and support young artists, acting as a catalyst for paving and shaping many of their art careers. Currently residing in Kuwait, the brothers have developed close relationships with well-renowned artists, including Fateh Moudarres, Nazeer Nabaa, Naseer Chaura, and many more. The brothers have continued expanding their art collections through the years, which currently includes a diverse list of artists, spanning multiple geographies from the Middle East to Europe and Asia.
