Marwan Kassab-Bachi

Marwan Kassab Bachi, an internationally renowned artist, is regarded as one of the pillars of modern painting in the Middle East. Living in Berlin since 1957, Marwan’s work embodies the influences of German Expressionism and Sufi mysticism from his native culture. His early works were figurative yet surreal representations of people.

Rami Al Ali Private Collection

Rami Al Ali is one of Syria’s most renowned fashion designers, whose work is characterized by his Syrian heritage, imbued with a sense of modernity.  He lives and works in Dubai, where he established his brand Rami Al Ali Couture in 2001. Since then, he has continued building his fashion house, whilst also remaining active in the cultural scene, as an art enthusiast and collector. Two years ago he established a cultural, philanthropic platform to connect movers and shakers from the region called Ard Dyar.
