Yvette Achkar

Yvette Achkar is one of the leading female artists in Lebanon. A significant figure, known for her vibrantly coloured canvases and unique visual language of abstraction, she accentuates colour and form throughout her body of work. She graduated from the Académie libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) in 1957, where she later taught painting. Achkar has participated in the Baghdad, Alexandria, and Paris biennials, among other group exhibitions worldwide. She has also been the recipient of various awards including from UNESCO.

Mazen & Loulia Soueid Private Collection

Mazen and Loulia Soueid are Lebanese collectors who have collected the work of Middle Eastern artists for over 20 years. Mazen, an economist and an entrepreneur is also the founding Chairman of TEAL EDITIONS; and Loulia an artist have a collection spanning over 300 works from pioneering figures of modernism and the contemporary era.
