Shalabia Ibrahim

Born in Monufia, Egypt, in 1944, Shalabiya Ibrahim is a self-taught artist who began drawing as a teenager. Later, when she married the Syrian artist Nazir Nabaa, he encouraged her artistic pursuits, and supported her to showcase her work in exhibitions.
