Ahmed Alsoudani

Born in Baghdad, Iraq, Ahmed Alsoudani came to the U.S. in the late-1990s. He received his B.F.A. in Painting from Maine College Art in 2005 and M.F.A. in Painting from the Yale School of Art in 2008. The artist's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions including at Iraq Pavilion in the 54th Venice Biennale, the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, the Phoenix Museum of Art, the Portland Museum of Art, the Frist Art Museum, and the Chrysler Museum of Art. The artist lives and works in New York City.
