Marwan Kassab-Bachi

Marwan Kassab Bachi, an internationally renowned artist, is regarded as one of the pillars of modern painting in the Middle East. Living in Berlin since 1957, Marwan’s work embodies the influences of German Expressionism and Sufi mysticism from his native culture. His early works were figurative yet surreal representations of people.

Charles Al Sidaoui has been an art collector since 2007, and after almost 14 years, his collection has grown to house more than 140 works. Al Sidaoui focuses on modern and contemporary artworks from all over the world, and describes his collection as international in its approach. His collection includes artists from more than 20 different countries.
