Etel Adnan

Etel Adnan was born in Beirut, and became known as one of the most celebrated poets, short story writer, essayist and artist. She grew up amidst the Landscapes of Lebanon and Syria, which left an imprint on her before moving to France and America. Her deep love of nature and affinity for colour is evident throughout her oeuvre, painting landscapes that express her love and connection to the natural world.
